We are celebrating our 10 year anniversary by releasing an all new car with a brand new chassis ! Many updates and improvements to our chassis from the only made to order production dirt modified model car company. We have produced over 600 different dirt modified model cars that raced the ovals of New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Canada spanning over a 20 year period. Our custom made to order car collections starts with cars dating back as far as 1989 to the hot rods of the present day. Weather you are a race team looking for replica's to be made of your race car or a die hard dirt modified fan we have a product for all of you.
We incorporated the tall cage design of today's dirt modified's into our new chassis.
We lifted and changed the front angle of the drivers cage area as well as raised it in the back for an overall taller cage. We increased the strength and durability of the chassis by now incorporating solid axle plates with axle tubes which now gives us live spinning axles. Our cars are now a rolling model with a much stronger overall design.
Other updates includes new shorter side rub rails, new rear bumper design, Bicknell, Troyer and Teo front bumpers. All bumpers and rub rails now come in a chrome plated finish. Removable front and rear mud plugs come with every car !
As always if they race it we build it ... Regular style dirt modified body design, sail panel dirt modified bodies, short track style front ends as well as Syracuse speedway style fronts and bodies !

We started working on this project back in the beginning of January knowing we wanted a brand new chassis, our old one ran it's coarse and updates were needed as well as we were entering our 10 Year Anniversary and wanted to do something special for our customers. We first started this company back in the fall of 2001, we were not open for business but the first designs were being worked on and the foundation was being laid. This is where the name Tallboy 210 comes in. Tall cage chassis design and 210 is 2nd generation of the chassis on the 10 year anniversary. We figured all chassis's have a name and ours should be no different and an X or Z after it was not what I was looking for. After doing some drawings and computer doodling this came to me and when I seen it in the version to the left that I created I knew this was it. It had meaning to our product not just a made up name.
We are not going to have available all of the cars we have done over the years, about half will be discontinued. This new chassis has different dimensions so all of our templates we have made over the years for the 600 plus cars will no longer fit this chassis so we will not be redoing all of these older cars just selected ones. We will still have many cars to choose from as well as new ones monthly once we get up and running again. We will be bringing back maybe around 300 cars and that number will once again start growing as we make more new cars.
We are very excited to be coming out with not just a new body design or a replica of a car with great graphics but an all new car chassis. The old car we had for years and was great and we did allot of cars with it. When we first came out with this car back in 2002 there was nothing available to the race teams or the race fans like this. We built off of it and made changes and improvements to the car itself as we learned more and the ways we built it better over the years. As great as this chassis had been for us there were flaws that we could not change no matter what we did with body design, the chassis itself needed to be remade and that would mean new plastic injection molds and a bigger finical investment besides placing an order for just more of our original chassis.
The drivers cage area really needed changes made so that area has been reworked. The side rub rails were too long and went into the rear wheel wells instead of the door panel and that was another area we addressed with this new car.
There are also parts on the chassis we reworked that will now make it much stronger, also changes now makes it so it now rolls. We made it so it is just an overall better car. The chrome rub rails and bumpers will look great as well as each car comes with removable mud plugs. I have 3 different style front bumpers with this car for Bicknell, Troyer and Teo cars. I redid the rear bumper design as well as how it is mounted. Our car needed this, our customers needed this as well as I needed this. My excitement was down from what it was in years past. I was no longer happy with the product and it was taking away from me designing and building but now I am really happy with this new chassis and now what I can produce.
You may have noticed we have not released nearly as many new cars this year as prior years, all of our focus has really been on this new car. We have been working on allot of new cars to release with this new chassis. What I have been doing is choosing a bunch of cars that have won different big races this year to get started and then start working my way into Syracuse cars.
We are also having a styro foam box for each car to fit inside of and then it's own black box for that to slide inside of. This was another thing we needed badly that these new cars will have, their own designed for them packaging. Now when you get a car it will come sealed in it's own protective styro foam insert and box .
We are just a married couple not a big corporation by any means who took a hobby to a higher level. Trying to produce a piece of art work to offer to race teams for their sponsors and their fans. Bottom line I am a big race fan, love dirt modified's, always have and just trying as hard as we can to produce a product that does the sport justice and at a price race teams and the normal person can afford.
You have to remember all of these cars are hand made, I design all the parts and make all the parts as well as assemble them. I designed the chassis, tires rims and a small bag of parts that comes with each chassis and that is what we had molds made of and then 2,000 copies. I design all the body parts and we make the in house. This is my form of art work, never said it is exact or perfect but it is the best I can make myself and duplicate at the lowest price possible for people to have of their favorite driver. You have to remember I am building these cars so I can reproduce them for you at a price in the $60 range. I could go much deeper in detail and make them even more realistic as I have seen in a few 1 off models but that is what those cars are, 1 off models. 1 copy is made and that is. We have to design and build this so we can reproduce it again and again in a time frame and cost that can translate back to you at the lowest possible price.
We have been asked if we ever considered turning our cars into a diecast car so I will address that question right here. We could never ever do what we do in a diecast . I turn out so many different style front ends, different body styles that the cost alone you would have to invest would take the project for a kind of race car that is basically just an east coast car and make it so high that you could never do it and make it work. Not doing it as I explained with so many different style body pieces like we do with our model cars. Also I see a car and take photo's of it from body design to graphics I can reproduce it and turn it from a photo into a completed car in a matter of days. To take a photo and turn it into a diecast version and I mean not just graphics but body design and other body parts you are looking at a year to do. There is no way I would even think of a diecast version to compete with what we are now making. We want the most accurate looking cars and be able to make the changes needed to make our cars match the real car and this is what we are able to do with our model cars.
