Here is one of the bodies that got it all started back in 2002, this was the original Sot Magic 2. The Slot Magic 1 was a traditional style Dirt Modified that has sense gone to the waste side and been replaced with a new 2 piece version but the original sail panel body we are going to keep producing. This is a one piece body for easy mounting yet still a great handling body. Tapered roof line, tapered sail panels, external mounted hood scoop. Well over 100 different graphic designs we have to choose from over the years of doing this body made along with still being a very good handling car made it impossible to stop making. We are still going to produce this body and all of the graphic designs of the past but we have discontinued designing any new cars of this body style. All of our new graphic's are being used on the newer designed bodies. But if you still want a copy of the original and save a few dollars the RPM Slot Magic Original is available for ordering !

"Newly Designed" RPM SLOT MAGIC 1

All new redesigned Slot Magic 1 is now ready for you ! We went back to the drawing books and took on the task of redesigning the body that started it all off back in 2002. We entered the slot car body scene in 02 with the traditional style north east dirt modified and it was an instant success. It was a great handling body along with perfect matching graphics to some of the most popular race cars. We then came out with a sail panel version later in the year.

What we did when we went to look at giving the original body not just a face lift but add even more realism to it as well as work on making it an even better handling body. This is a scale racing class so when we work on designing a body we look at things in real cars, real racing that would translate. This is when we looked at scaling back the tapering of the roof line for a wider larger roof as well as making it a longer roof. larger roof increased the overall down force.

The inner deck/front end has been one piece and now we were looking at turning this into 2 separate pieces to bring a totally new look to the car, adding it's own front end/hood scoop that would work independently from the body. The front end piece mounts to the inner chassis pan while the body mounts to the outer pan Once we created the separate front end piece we then came up with the idea of making it a full function hood scoop. This was another idea we pulled from real cars and racing. What is one of the keys to longer motor life and a faster motor ? AIR... Ram air induction , forcing air straight into the motor. Taking what was first a design built more for looks and turning it into a duel function part of the body.

Now looking at not only creating the best most looking , best handling dirt modified body but now also creating a body that adds life to your motor as it now runs cooler as well as creates faster lap times. After many test sessions all results came back positive we now had a newly designed that now not only looks great as well as handles great it now helps increase motor life and speed due to running cool !
